Can you help give a Step Up to the most vulnerable children in the world?
For millions of the world’s most vulnerable children, Covid 19 is becoming an educational crisis.
Even before the pandemic, 3.7 million refugee children were out of school and 75% of refugee youth didn’t complete secondary schools.
Currently schools, youth centres and safe child friendly spaces have been closed for months and millions of children have been unable to continue their education. There are no options for virtual learning or group activities causing high levels of stress and anxiety for refugee children who have been isolated for so long.
They are also at high risk of gang violence and underage marriages, according to @unicef, 13 million girls are at risk of child marriages and 20 million girls may never return to school.
